Hello!!!

So, this page has a lot of layers, a lot. 

I wasn't happy with anything that I was doing!

Nevertheless, it's done :)

The Art...

I knew I wanted to play with Derwent Inktense pencils & blocks.

{{Those are so neat. So much color!! When you add the water, magic!}}

I covered all that lovely color up with gesso though, just wasn't feeling it this time.

also used:

spray Inks, India ink, washi tape & bling.

Not a favorite page by far but...I'm moving on.

As Enya, in all her Irish glory sang, "Anwhere Is", 

I figured, right now, Anywhere is ok ...at least it's somewhere. :)

Even if it's somehwhere upside down!

Yes, yes. I accidentally did the whole thing upside down too.

A Smashing Sunday!

Whale & Wasp by AIC

I played in my Smashbook today & wanted to share some photos =)

^some heart stuff = valentine's day.
left side: a couple of things that Savannah made
right side: a Valentine from my friend & a card I made at stamp club last year & never used.

^this is just a photo of an art journal page I did a while back.

the butterfly is a cut out from a school paper Kam brought home one day.
this page isn't done, I just glued it in for now because it was dying to be used ;)

Made a pocket to hold some cards my Aunt mailed to me.
the embellishments on the pocket are cut outs from my stash of scrapbook paper.

here, I used a K&Co insert (green striped) that I've had for a long time & never knew how to use!

Yes, I emailed K&Co asking them how to use it lol.

& once they explained it to me....doh!

Hey! Another Monday is here...so another art journal page to share!

+ some tunes to get you grooving this evening.

I really love this page. The colors! 

In honor of the last Monday in February, I used reds + pinkys & orangys

& the texture isn't too shabby either ;)

What was used:

cut out "swirly" from scrapbook paper

white india ink

acrylic paints

alcohol ink

stamps & staz on

dazzling details in cherry cobbler

black gelato

black soot distress ink

faber castell big brush in deep scarlet red

prisma fineliner in black

sharpie marker in gold metallic

The music...

especially fond of the instrumentals in this one!
